I'm was so excited when I got the change to review 'Sharing Harper'
a novel written by a new author, V. Murphy!
Summary: Harper
Mae ran as far away as she could from her abusive past. She went to a
different city and numbed her pain by using men, never sleeping with the
same guy more than once. Ryder
worked at a coffee shop trying blend in with the rest of the world,
desperately trying to live a normal life. After leaving a relationship
and losing his family, he vowed never to fall in love again. Until one day they are unexpectedly drawn to each other unable to let go. Harper
and Ryder’s turbulent relationship, two people who are struggling to
find themselves, realize the answer lies within each other. Secrets, so deep, that both have, end up surfacing causing irrevocable pain. Will their love be strong enough to survive or will their pain be the downfall to their relationship? Will Harper open up enough to share her past with Ryder or will he be just another number on her list?
My Review!
The book is about a young girl, Harper Mae, who went through an abusive
relationship only to be left hurt and damaged. These issues only led her
to leading a promiscuous dark path where her nights led to sleeping with random men and disattaching herself from any kind of feeling other then pleasure. Through her fight to astray from her past, she meets a guy, Ryder, who
just like her, had a damaging past of his own. In this hot and steamy
novel you will read how two people, through all the pain in there own
pasts, "save" each other and fall hopelessly in love.
I give this novel 4 1/2 stars! I am absolutely in love with this novel! I can honestly say I couldn't put it down and read it all in one sitting! I connected to this novel on a personal level and I think many readers can relate to the characters story as I did.
Harper is such a intriguing character to read about. The constant exerts of her past leave you wanting to know more about the life she had lived before, while her current life as a slutty, (yes I said it!) pleasure hungry, promiscuous girl, leaves you hot and heavy wanting to
read more about her sexcapades.
While Ryder's character, his secrets of his own past leaves you just wanting to jump down a few pages to finally figure out his "whole story" while it also leaves you this feeling of unknown and mystery while reading. Ryder also is made to be that hero figure to Harper and creates that novel romance any girl dreams about!
I would recommend this book to any of my followers no doubt about that, this is a novel your just going to have to read to get all the juice from!

Murphy and she loves everything about reading (some may call her a
bibliophile). She is a current graduate from the University of Illinois
Urbana-Champaign and heading out west to live the California dream while
pursuing her masters degree in school counseling at the University of
San Diego. You can find her writing in a Panera, small coffee shop or on
campus. When she is not spending her time in school or reading, she
loves to write, bake and shop.
